Larry Jones

Larry JonesBorn in Washington, DC and raised in Philadelphia, Pa., Larry received a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Tulane University. He has worked in architectural offices in Philadelphia, New York City and Connecticut throughout his career, including a stint as part of the design team at Rafael Vinoly Architects of New York, working on the Kimmel Center –Philadelphia’s Regional Performing Arts Center. His experience in architecture includes work on a variety of residential projects as well as large-scale commercial projects. He has worked independently and with businesses as an Architectural Surveyor traveling across the country documenting and drafting as-built design plans of commercial office spaces for corporate clients. Larry has been involved with Philadelphia’s NOMA Chapter and The Urban League Young Professionals as a Membership Chair while living in Philadelphia. He was DCNOMA’s First Vice-President from 2009 to 2012. He served as President of DCNOMA in 2008. Prior to that term he served as First Vice-President from 2005-2007 and Historian in 2004. Larry also serves on the Membership committee of National NOMA.
